Six Nights Six Rites

Rituals of Opening a Restaurant

You’re invited to…

A live pre-opening series documenting the transformation of a restaurant in real time.

Before the doors officially open, a small, circle of invited guests is welcome inside for six intimate gatherings—part salon, part experiment, part celebration–each revealing a different stage in the making of Rōmyō.

Each evening includes:

  • An Offering (something poured, passed, or tasted)

  • A Ritual (something shared or enacted)

  • A Token (something to take with you)

Participation is complimentary, but we ask that you come with curiosity and good energy!

Snow in Summer

We’re playing with Kakigōri cocktails on the patio. Think fresh basil, watermelon, citrus. Think Rome. Think Tokyo. Think fluffy, powdery, fat flakes of icy drink deliciousness.

A space doesn't simply open, it's awakened. We’re getting so close! Help us fill our space with great intentions. We call upon all the blessings —Mezuzah? Poetry? Sage? Coins? —, and ask you to bring us a tiny bit of luck to help us bless the space.

Rite I The Making

Step inside the chaos of design.

We invite you into our living vision board, to give us meaningful directional insight, if you are so inclined. Regardless of inclination: tonight, we toast the new design elements as the space begins taking shape.

Each night includes:

  • An Offering – (something poured, passed, or tasted): Italian-style sake cocktails

  • A Ritual – (something shared or enacted): Write on oversized notes installed throughout the room, explore the chaos

  • A Token – (something to take with you): ? :)
